Improper Fastening of Deck Joist Hanger found by Winona Home Inspector

Decks should have joist hangers present to help hold the structure to the house.  In this case, the nails are doing little to aid that because they are located at the splice of the ledger board.  Have your decks inspected by a Certified Minnesota Home Inspector!
