Water intrusion in Eyota, MN home

This is what can happen when a basement window is not sufficiently above ground level.  This window does have a window well, but the ground is right up to the bottom of the frame and there is no rock to allow water to percolate into the soil.  Obviously, the water built up until it found a way in the window and ran down the interior wall.
